The Essential is one of our favorite pens. You could say it's, ahem, essential in kitchenWe like that it works well for all types of tasks. Its high walls keep grease from splattering on your countertop, and it can also function as a flat-bottomed skillet or even a Dutch oven. It is also dishwasher-safe.
If you tend to throw your fried vegetables out of the frying pan, a deep saucepan is just what you need. It has a large base for cooking, but high walls to keep your ingredients inside the pan and out of the stove. Plus, the sides are flat, so you can use them for leverage if you're flipping something with a spatula.
Everyone needs a good stainless steel frying pan. This 10.5-inch pan isn't huge, but it's big enough to cook grilled cheese, chicken breasts, or a few eggs. It's not nonstick, which takes some getting used to – make sure your grease or oil is hot before adding food – but once you've mastered cooking on stainless you'll never want to go back to nonstick. Would like. Good quality stainless provides even heat with fewer hot spots, and cooking becomes easier once you get the hang of it.
All-Clad's mix of copper, aluminum and 18/10 stick-resistant stainless makes it one of the best heat-conducting pans (except cast iron) that Wired reviewer Scott Gilbertson has used. He uses a smaller version for sauteing sauces, boiling potatoes, making bourbon-bacon bark, and countless other tasks. This is a kitchen worker. The included lid reduces evaporation (if you prefer).
This basket is great for grilling things like asparagus or fruit. There are vents in the bottom that provide smoky, charcoal-like goodness to flavor your food, without the danger of losing items in the grate while cooking. I love taking my car camping for exactly this purpose.
These little oval-shaped dishes are great for serving as side dishes or individually, but if you're like me and don't have a microwave, they're also fantastic for reheating leftovers on the stove or in the oven .
Imagine a world in which you cook your pasta and simply rinse out the strainer instead of taking the hot water to the sink. That world is a possibility with this multipot, which includes a straining basket that's perfect for straining pasta or whisking a stock later without all the effort. Of course, the outer pot can be used without the strainer – perfect for when you're making a big batch of soup this winter.
These measuring cups are highly durable. Your grandchildren's grandchildren could probably find some use for them. I like that they are deep. When I'm pouring a quarter cup of oil into a recipe, I don't have to worry as much about keeping my hand steady as I do with shallow, wide measuring cups. you can also create a snag odd shaped set At the same price.
It's almost that time of year again. These turkey forks are perfect for your Thanksgiving bird, or any other huge piece of meat you may be roasting in the colder months. They'll help you get a good grip and reduce the risk of spending six hours smelling amazing food and accidentally spilling it on the floor. Just keep an eye on the shipping time if you're expecting to receive it by a certain day.
The holiday cookie season is fast approaching. This bakeware set will help you prepare dishes for all your neighbors, friends, and neighbors' friends. It comes with two cookie sheets and a wire cooling rack, so when you're baking larger batches, everything will have a chance to cool before decorating. I can attest to the nonstick power of cookie sheets, and that same coating makes them easy to clean.
This little grill pan is another useful winter item. I realize that some of you may not be from Wisconsin, and therefore may not want to go out to cook something when it's cold. A cast iron grill pan helps create those delicious seared sears, and it comes with an acacia wood trivet so you can serve food straight from the pan. It also has a built-in spout to drain excess fat.
Every mixing bowl in my house seems dirty when I need it most. This three-pack is attractive. It includes 1.5-quart, 3-quart and 5-quart bowls, which all have rolled rims for easy pouring. They also stack for easy storage.
This tiny pot is perfect for melting butter, heating syrup, or making the world's smallest soufflé. It is induction-compatible and oven-safe up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. I don't have a microwave, so I'm always waiting for the double-boiler to melt my butter. Maybe I need a small but mighty pan in my kitchen.
This pan is extremely versatile and is also quite spacious, measuring approximately 19 inches by 15 inches. It's oven and broiler-safe up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit and is a great choice for roasting turkey, ham, or large piles of root vegetables.
