President-elect Donald Trump's six-year New York criminal run should continue for at least another four years, prosecutors said Tuesday.
Lawyers for Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg said in a letter to Justice Juan Merchan that Trump should not be punished for his crimes until he completes his second term in office. That year will be 2029, more than a decade after the investigation into Trump's concealment of “hush money” payments began.
This is a breaking story. It will be updated.
