Lauren Good: It sounds like you're somewhat in line with the successful tech entrepreneurs who were surveyed by the Junior College of Palo Alto on whether they were liberal.

Michael Calore: No, I'd go even further to the left than that, I'd say.

Zoe Schiffer: It seems that maybe he is Yang Gang.

Lauren Good: Oh, Yang Gang. I once interviewed Andrew Yang.

Michael Calore: Andrew Yang, he was one of the first big vocal supporters of universal basic income in the political arena, right?

Lauren Good: Yes, he really was.

Michael Calore: Well, I don't know anything else about him, so I can't say whether I'm actually Yang Gang or not.

Lauren Good: Mike is going to start another third party for UBI.

Michael Calore: Oh boy. There is no government like no other, I always say.

Lauren Good: Do you say so?

Michael Calore: Okay, Lauren, I'm going to hand it back to you. Where do you think this is headed in the future?

Lauren Good: I'm really struggling to say where this is all going politically because I'm so confused by what's happening in politics right now and am still trying to sort it out. I think there are going to be more factions of self-proclaimed libertarianism forming and people adopting certain ideals on the left and right. But I think the original word is losing its meaning.

Michael Calore: Agreed. I like this new word liberal.

Lauren Good: Yes, but again, this is from 2020 and things change fast.

Michael Calore: Zoe, what about you?

Zoe Schiffer: I think we're going to see more privatization than ever before. Right now, we have people like Elon Musk, who is reportedly going to co-chair the Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, with Vivek Ramaswamy, and they want to get rid of the Department of Education. So I'm guessing we're going to see private sector solutions to things that the government used to solve.

Lauren Good: And on our next episode uncanny valleyWe're going to uncover all the highly successful companies that have been led by two CEOs at the same time.
