Google may soon bring its adaptive charging battery protection feature from your pixel phone to the pixel watch line. This feature is designed to preserve battery health by preventing overcharging, and rests on the ability to predict your charging schedule.

Android authority Spotted code strings that refer to adaptive charging in the latest version of the Pixel Watch Management Service System app, although this feature is not yet available to use. It is also not clear that the pixel watch model can be supported, or when it will officially launch.

The code does not give any details of how adaptive charging on the Pixel Watch will work, but it is likely to be similar to Google's phone. They learn users' charging habits and usually avoid charging up to 100 percent capacity until one hour before being unplaced. This prevents the fall of the battery from overcharging, lengthening the lifetime of cells.

Adaptive charging is useful on the phone because how common it is to charge overnight, which makes it relatively easy to estimate that a phone is likely to come from a charger. Pixel Watch is less likely to help, given that many users will use their wearable for sleep tracking, and instead charge it quickly during the day. 24 -hour battery with life, even the latest Pixel Watch 3 A daily fee is still needed. Given that small battery life, we will also worry that the clock will have to grab the clock at only 80 percent capacity … disappointment, at least to say.
