Argentine President Javier Meili is likely to attend the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump in January, according to an Argentine diplomatic official. Although her attendance has not been publicly confirmed, the official said all signs point towards Milley traveling to Washington, DC for the swearing-in ceremony.
A spokesperson for the Trump transition team did not respond to a request for comment.

Bloomberg News were the first to report on Miley attending the inauguration, citing an Argentine government spokesperson.
Miley is the first world leader expected to be in Washington for the January 20 event, although arrangements are underway for others to attend. CBS News reported last week that Chinese President Xi Jinping, whom Trump had personally invited to the inauguration unlikely to participateAccording to several sources.
Trump confirmed on Monday that he has exchanged letters with Xi and “would love to meet him.” [at the inauguration]But there has not been much discussion on whether he will accept the invitation or not.
Trump said he has called more than 100 world leaders since winning the election and, when asked specifically, said he had not invited Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
State Department records dating back to 1874 show that no world leader attended the US transfer of power ceremony. Traditionally, foreign ambassadors and their spouses represent their governments at the quadrennial event.
Miley met Trump at Mar-a-Lago shortly after the November election.
