A quick primer on MagSafe

What are standby mode and nightstand mode?
You will notice that we have come up with two specific modes in this guide: Standby Mode and Nightstand ModeWhat are they?
standby mode was introduced in ios 17When you place your iPhone on the charger in landscape orientation, it will turn the screen into a dock of sorts, showing the clock (with different designs you can choose from), photos, or widgets from your library. If you have an iPhone that supports the always-on screen, you can choose to have the display automatically turn off after a certain amount of time when the iPhone is not in use or the room is dark. go towards Settings > Standby To customize it.
nightstand mode Has been present on the Apple Watch for a long time. Essentially, when the watch is standing upright and charging, the clockface will remain on so you can always tell the time. You can customize this on your Apple Watch by going to Settings > General > Nightstand Mode,
