Duale Demands Evidence From Kalonzo on Ruto’s Alleged 2027 Alien Voters Plan

With barely a month to the Ramadhan period, Cabinet Secretary Ministry of Environment, Climate Change, and Forestry Aden Duale has pleaded with President William Ruto to avail electricity.

Speaking during President William Ruto’s tour of Mandera County, Duale, who was also present, urged the President to ensure that the region has electricity before the celebrations, which are set to begin on March 1, 2025.

“We are almost approaching Ramadhan. I have told you many times, and leaders have also told you, that electricity in Wajir and Mandera is a big problem. On 1st March, we begin Ramadhan celebrations, and electricity is our biggest challenge. Please, help us,” Duale pleaded.

According to the Cabinet Secretary, the region already has 1.3 megawatts but requires more to facilitate the celebrations.

During the month of Ramadhan, Muslims observe a strict fast from dawn until sunset. They are not allowed to eat or drink (even water) during daylight hours.

Apart from the request for electricity, Duale went further to request the president to finish the road construction on the Northern gateway from Isiolo to Mandera which was stalled while Ruto was the Deputy President.

Moreover, Duale hailed Ruto for the move on easy issuance of Identification cards, and passports to the people of Northern Kenya.

“For over 50 years, we were told that we could not get IDs and passports until we were vetted. Neither Moi, Kibaki, nor Uhuru’s regime has done what you have done for us. But thanks to you, President Ruto, all Kenyan children are now equal when it comes to the issuance of birth certificates, IDs, and passports,” Duale stated.

Reaffirming his support for Ruto, Duale urged residents to vote for Ruto in 2027 and ensure he secures a second term in office.

The Head of State visited Moi Stadium in Mandera County on Tuesday during a work tour. He is in the region for a three-day visit.

Accompanied by his Deputy, Kithure Kindiki, Ruto promised the residents of the region that he would ensure they receive a fair share of national development, just like any other part of the country.

“Northern Kenya is as good as any other part of Kenya, and that is why we must connect electricity, water, and road networks and ensure that the children of the north are not treated differently from those in other parts of the country,” Ruto assured.
