Cabinet Secretaries Aden Duale, John Mbadi, and Soipan Tuya have led the latest wave of government appointments.
In a gazette notice published on Friday, December 13, the CSs in President William Ruto’s government together with CS Eric Mugaa in their various ministries sought to streamline the government’s development agenda.
Environment CS Aden Duale named Maclean Sitati Nangalama as a member of the Board of Directors in the National Environment Management Authority for a period of three years.
Nangalama raised eyebrows when he dropped out as the deputy governor nominee of former Bungoma governor Wycliffe Wangamati in the run-up to the 2022 general elections. His appointment to the board signalled the revocation of Charles Ngome in the same capacity.
