Nyandarua Governor, Dr. Moses Kiarie, has urged the National Government to consider allocating funds towards the completion of the JM Complex Hospital, a project poised to revolutionize healthcare in the county.
Speaking during a site visit, Kiarie said the county government had invested nearly Sh1 billion in the facility saying the projected total cost exceed Sh1.5 billion emphasizing the urgent need for additional funds to complete the project.
He noted that once complete, the complex will elevate healthcare capacity by providing Nyandarua with a Level 6 hospital services which will spare county residents the inconvenience and financial burden of traveling long distances to access some specialized medical services.

The Governor called on stakeholders to join hands in ensuring the project reaches its fruition, stating that such partnerships are crucial for advancing healthcare services in the county.
“The JM Mashujaa structural works is almost complete and the remaining works which are installation of medical glasses, theatres, and mechanical works among other finer finishes is the biggest task now. We are appealing to the national government or any other donors to facilitate us with 500 million to complete the facility,” he said.
