Hileberg, a small, The Swedish company untouched, quietly some of the strongest, the most difficult, the most air and weather-resistant, the best-made backcunth is churning the shelters that you can buy for decades. AKTO was first released in 1995 and all those years have seen only one design change. This is why Hilaberg has something after a creed. Hillabberg tents are also very expensive, which has always surprised me, “Are they worth it?”
To find out this, I sent me Hileberg to its prestigious four seasons, one-person, hop-style tent-the acto. With a retail price of $ 740 (although you can find it for less sale), it's not cheap, but after using it for about two weeks in this decline and winter, I think it is absolutely worth money Is. Akto is The best tent i have ever used With a very widespread difference. This is not right, but it is the best single tent that you can buy, and I am sure it is only made of nylon which can be a shot in our creation. Buy it for life guide,

Akato was a groundbreaking tent when he came to the spot in 1995. (For reference, the name means “alone” in Sami's language, indigenous people of Northern Scandinavia.) Then, almost no one was making- season one-person tent, no silicon is using nylon Was-now standard fabric for light tents-and no hop was making tents. Fast for today, and while an important part of the outside industry now makes such things (eg, Tarptant's Scarpa 1), Akto remains more or less the same tent. When something works, do not mess with it. (Although technically, Hileberg added small vent hood to the fly door at some point, and I am happy that they did. It could be my favorite feature.)
Enough history, let's go to the tent. Until you are using the cottage industry ultralight tents, it is probably very different from the most backpacking tents you use.
There are two things that separate the Akato of Hileberg. The first is the hap-style design. The second thing that makes this tent different is the fabric, which is hard and lighter than other tents I tested (although perhaps ultralite). More on it.
Akto is not freestanding. The design consists of a curved pole in the middle of the tent, such as a covered wagon circle. The ends are then taken out of the curved center pole, with two bets at each end. A freestanding design has some advantages, such as being able to move the tent easily after setting it. But after spending time with Akto and other non-Frostanding designs, I found that I am fine with trade-offs. Skking the freestanding design gives you a light tent with a at least wind profile, while it is quite strong, should be enough in the air innings at night. Pitching is also easy.
