Machakos Boys High School has recorded the best performance in Machakos in the just released 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KSCE) results.
Machakos Boys Chief Principal, Benson Manoo, could not hide his joy as he spoke to the media, where he announced that 8 students scored A plain, with the highest having 84 points and others 83 and 81 points, respectively, while 46 had A-.
Manoo said they are all in a celebratory mood since out of 598 students who sat for KCSE, 437 students have qualified to join the University, as 60 students scored B+, 96 had B plain, 112 had B-, and 115 had C+.
With a mean grade of 7.7, he noted a significant improvement from last year, where they had a mean grade of 7.4, and attributed the good performance to hard work and discipline from the students and the teachers support, as they cleared the syllabus in good time.
“This year we are celebrating the 2024 KCSE results, as it shows a great improvement from last year. I am proud of my students and the teachers for their immense support,” said Principal Manoo.
Emanuel Musyoki who scored A plain of 84 points said he appreciated his parents and the school for the support accorded to the students.
Aspiring to be a surgeon, Musyoki credits his efforts to his teachers for preparing them early enough as he looks forward to joining the University, to achieve his dreams.
