How Kenya Will Be Affected by Trump's 100% Tax Threat to BRICS

The support for Kenya’s security mission in Haiti from the United States was uncertain following the election and subsequent assumption of office by President Donald Trump.

However, President William Ruto, while attending a Sunday service at the Global Cathedral Church in Nairobi, brushed off the claims insisting that he has reached out to Trump, who has assured him of support to the Kenyan Forces in Haiti.

Ruto, however, did not disclose if he had reached out to Trump on the additional support to the Kenyan Mission in Haiti.

”I was requested by the President of the US to provide Kenya’s security diplomacy that is also legendary and known to support Haiti,” Ruto announced.

”Now, I am very proud that even President Trump, with the new administration, supports Kenya’s mission,” he added.

According to Ruto, the diplomatic ties between Kenya and the US will continue to thrive, despite concerns from critics who feared that the relationship would sour due to the tough diplomacy under Trump.

There is a special bond of friendship between the United States and Kenya. The USA is a blessing to our nation, and we work together in many aspects,” he added.

Last week Kenya deployed an additional 217 troops of elite officers from the National Police Service to Haiti.

The Head of State further announced at the service that he firmly supported an executive order the US President signed on his inauguration day noting that the US government will henceforth only recognise two genders, male and female.

Ruto explained that the executive order only reinforced what his government has reiterated all along.

”Contrary to what has been happening in the past, this year we got some very welcoming development in the US, that as a leading democracy, we have gotten to understand that the policy direction of the US supports what we believe in,” Ruto asserted.

He added, ”Boys must remain boys, men must remain men, women must remain women and girls must remain girls.”
