Uriri Member of Parliament Mark Nyamita has launched the second edition of an online bursary and scholarship programme in his constituency.
Speaking during the launch of the bursary and scholarship worth Sh52 million at Uriri Boys High School which is set to benefit students from secondary, tertiary and university, Nyamita said that the bursary will help to solve school fees challenges faced by needy students.
Nyamita who also discussed policy challenges related to Junior Secondary School (JSS) learners with education stakeholders from Uriri Sub County said that he will continue to engage education stakeholders to find workable solutions.
The legislature elaborated that it’s through discussions and exploring implementable strategies that solutions can be realised for JSS learners’ needs which will result in quality education.
