Elkart, Industries. (CBS) – Three people have been killed- including a suspect- and two police officers were injured in a shooting at a grocery store in Northern Indiana.

“In this terrible situation, the words cannot express the pain felt in our community when such a tragic event occurs,” Elkart Police chief Dan Milneys said in a statement. “This pain is especially felt by the families of the victims, the officers responding, the families of the injured officers and all the witnesses of this tragic incident.”
