There are so many amazing TVs available now, there's a good chance that even the TVs that weren't in our top picks could be a great choice for you. Here are some of our favorites that missed the cut.

TCL Q6 (2024), This affordable model from TCL has some of the most impressive features I've seen on a cheap TV without fancy local dimming. I really like how good the colors are, especially when watching modern classics. dune Or mad max fury roadA built-in Google interface makes streaming and casting easy, and TCL has a history of making moderately priced screens that last, so you don't have to worry too much about your purchase.

sony bravia 7, Bravia 7 (7/10, Wired recommends) is a gorgeous display, offering brilliant brightness, natural colors and delicate beauty in fine details. Its biggest drawback is poor off-axis viewing, which may be hard to swallow at its high list price. Otherwise, it's worth considering for fans of Sony's flashes, especially since Sony is offering unnatural discounts on many model sizes.

TCL QM7, The only thing that keeps the QM7 beautifully balanced (6/10, reviewed by Wired) Off our main list: a software glitch. During my review, I encountered an issue where adjusting the HDR backlight level affected HDR, which can lead to severe brightness limitations. While TCL fixed the problem for me in a firmware update, it's not widely available yet. Most people probably won't have this problem, so the QM7 is still worth considering, and TCL is expected to release a broader firmware update in December.

Samsung S95C, S95C (8/10, Wired recommends) remains a great option while still available. It may also be a better option for those who don't want or need the matte screen of the 2024 model. It's still one of the best OLED TVs you can buy – especially considering its seriously accessible sale price.

Samsung QN90C, Another great deal still available is Samsung's QN90C (8/10, Wired recommends) was one of our favorite bright-room TVs for a long time. It's available in a wide range of sizes and offers a bright and colorful picture and plenty of extras – especially attractive given its steadily falling price.
